At the same time as all the festivities the fishing was ongoing and what fishing it was! Sail and marlins all over the place! One well travelled client commented that he was never going anywhere else in the future!
30th December 09
Simba fished by Richard Baudry tagged 1 sailfish on fly.
Sea Storm with George and Jason Kyriazi on a half day had 2 sailfish.
White Bear fished by Elena Lardone, Giovanni Rosa, Luigi Lardone and Claudia Nappi got 1 Striped marlin, 2 sailfish, Wahoo and falusi.
Ol-jogi with Gary Adams & Martin Davidson had 2 sailfish, while Black Widow fished by Allesandro Quarta, Matilde Rosa, Julia Nappi and Daniela Boccardo also got 2 sailfish all tagged and released; some Wahoo kingfish and dorado.
31st December 09
White Bear with Barry and Tom Shaw had 5 sailfish, some Dorados and a Wahoo.
Tega fished by David, Tiffany and Melissa MacTaggart had 2 Striped marlin, 3 sailfish, some Dorado's and yellowfin tuna.
Sea Storm with Martin Davidson, John Whitehead, Gary Adams and Taylor Davidson had 1 Black marlin est 70kgs and a sailfish.
Ol-jogi with Angelo and Nicola Machesi got 2 striped marlin and 3 sailfish, a yellowfin and dorados.
B's Nest with Leonid Zikeev got 1 Striped marlin, 3 sailfish, 7 falusi 23kgs.
02nd January 10
Black Widow with James, Debbie, Lucinda and Jonathan Goucher had 1 Black marlin tagged and released by James; it being his first marlin caught. Congratulations James!
B's Nest with Leonid Zikeev had a fantastic day out which saw him back with 3 Marlin ( 1 Black est 120kg ,2 Striped 70kgs and 65kgs).
Sea Storm with Barry Shaw had a good day also, tagging and releasing 1 Striped marlin 35kgs, 3 sailfish, 3 yellowfin, a falusi and a baracuda.
White Bear with Alexey Kolosova, Alexey Ostrovskiy and Valery Kolosov had 1 Striped marlin 40kgs.
Instedda with Minaz Parmar, Aleem and Fayaz Ladha and Imraan Moosa got 1 Striped marlin and 3 sailfish.
Tamu fished by Marcus and Steve Perez, Dennis Bell and dan Sutherland had 4 sailfish.
03rd January 10
Albatross with Mario Poggio and Luciano Guarneri on a half day got 3 sailfish.
Black Widow with Archie, Arif & Jamie Supple got 4 sailfish, wahoo and a yellowfin tuna.
B's Nest with Valery Kolosov, Alexey Ostrovskiy and Alexey Kolosova got 4 Marlin ( 2 Blacks 150kg and 70kg and 2 Blues 60kg and 80kg).
Mark Bird on Unreel got a Striped marlin 28kgs all tagged and released and 4 yellowfin tuna 23kgs.
04th January 10
Black Widow with Neil and Alex Malloy got 1 sailfish tagged/released.
Ol-Jogi with Martin and Taylor Davidson, Gary Adams and John Whitehead got 1 Striped marlin 40kg; 8 sailfish tagged/released, while White Bear with the Goucher family got 2 Striped marlin 65kg and 75kg, 3 sailfish of which one was caught on Fly.
