Well, the rain is finally be disappearing but the wind is still blowing strongly. Still, we've had several good days of sunshine now and the season is picking up.
Fishing wise we have had good success, with several marlin bells over the last 2 weeks and some decent sailfish as well but you do need to be a good sailor as the swell is quite considerable.
We are catching some wonderful tuna at the moment and most evenings see sashimi as bitings in the bar, so a big thank you to all our anglers who keep us in good supply!
We enjoyed our first Mida Creek BBQ cruise today and our guests are being very active, watching Turtle releases, exploring the forest, shopping in Malindi and playing football on the beach. Its all go here!

We are open! It is still very windy with the odd storm blowing in with lots of rain but for the most part it is warm and sunny down here in Watamu.
We opened back up after the break on the 15th June with everyone having enjoyed a good relaxing break and now we are ready to get back to work so please, do come and visit us!
The weather continues to to be changeable, with some mornings quite calm and still and others very windy with choppy waters. The fishing has remained extremely good very late this year and provided many of our Easter holiday families with some excellent fun.
So far in April we've had 13 Sailfish and have even managed a couple of Marlin; 1 Blue and 1 Stripey - each of which was a first ever marlin for the anglers.
There are plenty of dorado and wahoo being caught; making for busy days on board the boats.
