There are plenty of things to do during your stay at Hemingways.
Hemingways' experienced snorkelling guides can supervise your adventure to get the best view of the coral reef at close quarters. Glass bottomed boats are also available.
Snorkelling in Watamu
There are three dive centres in Watamu. Courses are available to PADI, BSAC, SSI and VDST certification. All offer diving both within and outside the reef, depending on sea conditions.
Scuba Diving in Watamu
On the water we offer windsurfing, hobie cat sailing, sea kayaks and pedeloes. Hemingways has its own floodlit tennis court, and there are golfing opportunities nearby.

Gym
At Hemingways we have 2 excellent birding areas within a few miles of the hotel: Mida Creek, and the Arabuko-Sokoke Forest, home to the tiny Sokoke Scops owl.
Birdwatching Watamu
Mida is one of the few places in Kenya where you are able to watch the sunset over water and the sunset dhow cruises offer spectacular views.
